Dear Parent,

Once again, we have a privilege in presenting you the highlights of the performance of the school for the first and second quarters of the academic year-2008-09.

 

Academics: - The school is geared up with an effective and highly Motivated Team of Teaching faculty inspired an equipped to create better quality of education. Except for a very few teething problems during the first quarter, the academics are well planned and begin executed in the phase wise manner.

 

The school is aimed at developing the concepts rather then getting satisfied with the scores. The contribution and co-operation of the parent community is also highly essential to achieve our goals.

 

The school is contemplating to initiate new steps and further increase efficiency of the system during the coming academic year.

 

Celebrations: - The school celebrated its Investiture ceremony on 14^th August and nominated schools student’s new cabinet for the academic year 2008-09. The New working committee of the Teacher’s is also nominated. This was followed by a number of cultural programmes Making 61^st Independent Day. On 15^th August flag was hoisted followed by March Past.

 

Teacher’s Day: - Sep 5^th, On the occasion of Teachers day, the Teachers were felicitated by the students Making respect and honour for their “Guru’s:, followed by cultural activities.

 

Nov 14^th Children’s Day was celebrated with the same spirit and grandeur.

 

Field Trips:-

1.      The pre-primary children had been to Reliance Mart and Zoo during the I & II Term.

2.        I & II classes went to Zoo.

3.      On Nov 22^nd the higher sections had been to “MEDEX-2008” a Medical Science Exhibition organized by Osmania Medical College .

 

Pre-primary Activities:-             

·        Aug 14^th   - Parent-Orientation Programme.

·        Nov 1^st – Vegetable’s Day.

·        Nov 14^th – Fancy dress competition.

·        Dec 6^th – Colour’s Day.

·        Dec 23^rd – Christmas Celebration.

·        Jan 3^rd – Balloon’s Day.

·        Jan 7^th – A picnic to “Mount Opera ” is scheduled for the classes IV to X.

·        Jan 24^th – Pre-primary presentation day (scheduled).

 

Inter School Competitions:-

 

           Our Students took a part in Inter-School competition and literary, cultural and sports activity, organized by Ushodaya Academy and we have emerged as the top most school bagging 28 prizes with an outstanding performance.

 

On Sep 14^th: Our Students participated in the “THE HINDU YOUNG WORLD” Quiz competition. Conducted at Hari Hara Kala Bhavan.

 

Dec 28^th: Our students took a part in the A.S.Rao Memorial Inter-School Talent search Examination.

 

Updating Teacher’s Skills:- Continuous updating of skills for the Lotus Teacher is a regular feature. On Sep 31^st, Nov 1^st & 2^nd training cum workshop was organized for the teachers. The Teachers have practiced Microteaching as one of the feature during this session.

Seminar sessions for the students remain a part of our Teaching Learning Process and are been carried out at regular Intervals.

The English Language Programme is also being implemented successfully. The progress of the students is also encouraging.

The School is also planning to improve infrastructural facilities to provide better environment for effective learning.
